As a seriously dedicated songwriter, I view the art of making music as more of a creative endeavor than a passionate desire to master an instrument. The spark for me in the late 1960s was Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde album. Drawing from that catalytic moment in time, my bands have always been about working with musicians who share my urge to figure out how to create good songs and turn them into cool-sounding records. The urge continues.
